‘Yoga With Modi’: PM Shares The ‘Secret’ That is Keeping Him Fit During Lockdown | Earth Indian

New Delhi: A day after he said that he would share a ‘couple of videos’ on what keeps him fit during the ongoing 21-day nationwide lockdown, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday did just that, uploading animated Yoga videos on his official Twitter account.

Notably, the Prime Minister was asked a question on his fitness routine during his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio address on Sunday. It was in response to this question, that he said that he would soon upload a couple of videos on what is keeping him fit during the shutdown.

Today, PM Modi tweeted: “During yesterday’s Mann Ki Baat, someone asked me about my fitness routine during this time. Hence, thought of sharing these Yoga videos. I hope you also begin practicing Yoga regularly.”

However, admitting that he was neither a fitness nor a medical expert, he said that practicing Yoga had been an integral part of his life, adding that he had found it to be beneficial.

“I’m sure many of you also have other ways of remaining fit, which you also must share with others,” he further said.

The Yoga videos, PM Modi said, were available in different languages, urging everyone to have a look and wishing a ‘happy Yoga practicing.’

Yesterday, in what was his first Mann Ki Baat address since the lockdown came into effect, the Prime Minister apologised for putting everyone through hardships, stressing that it was the only option available and urging everyone to follow it diligently for their own well-being.

Today, the Centre denied that there were plans to extend the lockdown, which is scheduled to end on April 14, after reports to this effect started doing the rounds
