It’s a peculiar time for the world as your favorite celebrities are nowhere to be seen at movies, award shows, airports, and film screenings, but are killing time at their homes. As all production houses remain closed and no new films are coming out soon due to coronavirus pandemic, Bollywood actors have started making Instagram their new medium to entertain their fans with workout posts, household tips and whatnot. Bollywood’s heartthrob Vicky Kaushal is spending some memorable moments with family amid quarantine. The actor on Monday shared an adorable picture with his mom as they observe the sunset sitting on the balcony amid the countrywide COVID-19 lockdown.

The 31-year-old actor took to Instagram and shared insights from his family time by sharing the picture along with his mom. In the picture, the mother-son duo is seen looking at each other while they spend a good time. The Sanju actor’s mom is seen smiling at him in the mesmerising backdrop of a sunset. Vicky’s caption will take your heart away as he wrote a Dogri folk song, ‘Maye Ni Meriye’ that translates as “My Mom.”

Fans were quick to notice the special post on the photo-sharing platform. The gorgeous mom-son duo picture garnered more than 7lakhs within a few hours of being posted and was showered with likes and comments by celebrity followers including Badshah, Vikrant Massey, Badshah, and Rashami Desai.

Almost all the celebrities are staying at home in the wake of the pandemic and are advising the people to remain indoors to be safe. Actors including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are spreading the message to take the necessary precautions and donate as much as possible to fight COVID-19.

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in India rose to 13,00 on Monday morning, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This included 99 people who have been discharged or cured of the highly contagious respiratory illness and 30 deaths.

On the work front, Vicky has last seen in Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship. The actor is currently working on the Udham Singh biopic which is directed by Shoojit Sircar. After this, he will move on to shoot Karan Johar’s magnum opus Takht.
