Ek Villain 2: Aditya Roy Kapur And Mohit Suri Work From Home on Video Calls to Shape up Actor’s ‘Villainous’ Character | Earth Indian

Ek Villain 2: Things might have slowed down in the film industry because of the ongoing coronavirus lockdown but for the team of Ek Villain 2, there’s no rest. Director Mohit Suri and actor Aditya Roy Kapur are working from their homes to beef up the latter’s character in the film and polish it as much as possible. Both Adi and Mohit are collaborating on a film for the third time and they have built a distinct repo. For Adi’s character in Ek Villain 2, Mohit is not ready to leave any stone unturned. The duo is reportedly making video conference calls on a daily basis to discuss Adi’s ‘villainous’ character in the film.

A report in Mumbai Mirror suggests that Aditya’s character in Ek Villain 2 will be seen in many avatars carrying corresponding mannerisms. It is because of this diversity in his character-detail that Mohit is utilising this quarantine time to draw the fitness routine for the actor and discuss with him the other requirements. The report quoted a source close to the film saying, “Adi’s character will be seen in several avatars with corresponding mannerisms for each of them. The next step for him and Mohit is physical prep, for which they will draw up a fitness routine. Adi and Mohit were to meet for reading sessions to understand the psyche of the villainous character, but now they will be working form their respective homes till the lockdown is in place.”

Mohit, too, confirmed the news and mentioned that when he is working with Aditya, there’s a sense of responsibility and a desire to give him the best. The director who launched Adi in Bollywood with Aashiqui 2 added that the actor and his relationship is such that they both extract the best from each other and roast it to the fullest in their films.

Ek Villain 2 features Aditya as the ‘villain’ alongside John Abraham and Disha Patani. Actor Tara Sutaria, who was last seen with Sidharth Malhotra in Marjaavaan, is paired opposite Aditya. The film is the second part in the popular Ek Villain franchise that earlier featured Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead. It’s backed by Bhushan Kumar and Ekta Kapoor.
